Jane Athron

 

I am a Portsmouth/ Southsea  based artist, currently working mainly in mixed media.

I have lived most of my adult life in Mexico, which influences my work, along with literature, poetry, film and childhood memories of growing up in Devon.

I studied B A (1999) and M A (2001) Art, Design and Media at Portsmouth University on returning to England, and have resided in Portsmouth full time since 2006.

I am a member of the Portsmouth and Hampshire Art Society and exhibit with them each summer at the Cathedral in Old Portsmouth, as well as other local art spaces throughout the year.

I am happy to take on commissions in a variety of media  upon request.
